Maarten Schobben

Maarten holds a professional bachelor's degree in legal practice and a professional bachelor's degree as a commercial translator/interpreter. In 2014, he completed his Master of Laws at the Katholieke Universiteit Leuven, with a specialisation in criminal law and European and international law.

In 2014, Maarten took the oath at the Limburg Bar and began his career as a lawyer at a Limburg firm. Since 2017, he has been part of FAIRWAY.

Maarten specialises in personal and family law and family property law. He also handles adoption files and matters relating to filiation.

Since 2024, he has been guiding parties as an accredited mediator in family mediation, including in cases of divorce, relationship breakdown and disputes concerning arrangements for children.
