In 2026, Jef Vermassen's firm joined forces with FAIRWAY: a further milestone in our story. Jef Vermassen is known as an authority in criminal law: driven, principled and tireless in defending his clients' interests in various well-known cases with a significant social impact. It is therefore no coincidence that Jef Vermassen has been a household name in Flanders for more than fifty years. With his experience, he is of undeniable value within FAIRWAY.

He views complex legal matters through a simple lens and explains them clearly. For this reason, he is a much-sought-after commentator on radio and television in Belgium and the Netherlands. He is also the author of several books.

In 2026, we were likewise delighted to welcome Jorden Wouters to the FAIRWAY team. With more than forty years of experience at the Bar, Jorden Wouters is an established authority in dispute resolution, legal advice and contract negotiation. He thereby brings added momentum to social law and business law.

Their integration marks but the next chapter in the ever-growing story of FAIRWAY, a story in which the client is at the heart of our practice and can rely on expert guidance.
