Jo Muylle

Jo obtained his degree in law at UGent in 1994. He also obtained a certificate of specialised training in cassation proceedings in criminal matters.

Jo has been active as a lawyer at the Bar of Dendermonde since 14 October 1994.

Since 2009, he has been a member of the Criminal Law Commission of the Orde van Vlaamse Balies. He also serves as a lecturer in criminal procedure at the Training School of the Orde van Vlaamse Balies Oost-Vlaanderen.

Jo has a varied practice. In criminal law, he handles cases before the Court of Assises, the criminal court and the court of appeal, as well as cassation proceedings in criminal matters. He also assists clients in sentence enforcement proceedings and in the context of legal assistance during interviews of adult persons. In civil law, he is active in succession law, property law and attachment law. In commercial law, Jo handles disputes concerning companies. He is also active in social security law and medical law, in particular in proceedings relating to medical accidents and negligence.
